Arrival of our guests
DAY 2
After a short
night, there was another day of our adventures. In the literal sense, we
reached the stars because we went to the astronomical observatory in Ondrejov.
The nice lady guide showed us a large observatory area including the museum of
technology and two telescopes. We had the opportunity to observe the sun through
one of them.
Apparently, we prayed for good weather because after the visit in the observatory the sun appeared to us fully, and we arrived with some luggage in the form of our jackets and sweatshirts, which we had to carry with us since then.
Before returning to Mnichovice, we had a nice break enjoying local ice cream. We also broke the ice in our international relations. Among our group emerged an amazing vocal and dance team, which we hope will win the first place in the Polish-Czech Got Talent program.
Some of took a lot of crazy selfies (unfortunately for some of them they were the last selfie on this trip).
On this day we had a quick lunch and we set off on a further journey... A great surprise for us was the information about a private yacht on the Vltava unannounced earlier.
We were divided into two groups. The first one went for a walk around the city, and the other eagerly went on a cruise. We had an unusual opportunity to admire Prague from the yacht's deck. Mr. Capitan told us the rules of sailing the yacht and discussed the most important spots in the city that we passed along the way. An additional attraction was the presence of the captain's four-legged companion, whom we eagerly cheered and pampered.
Having great time on board, some of us started singing Polish-Czech-English sailors’ songs, the words and meanings of which no one was able to understand, but everyone had a great time.
When we returned to Mnichovice, it was already dark night so we went to sleep quickly and recalling beautiful memories of that day.
